I was asked to write a piece for The Guardians Music Blog site about Big Beat..

To be honest this scared the hell out of me, for a long time the term has haunted me... and i would recoil with revulsion if it was ever uttered in my presence. So I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to do this, however after much soul searching it turned out quite cathartic to be honest and I can look back at those days with some pride instead of apologising for what it became.. I might even put up my On The Floor AT The Boutique mix...
